CORNEL SERBAN It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear friend Cornel Tataie Serban at Riverview Health Centre on July 3, 2011 at the age of 64. Tataie will be lovingly remembered by his son Laurentiu, his daughter-in-law Daniela and his granddaughters Andrea and Monica as well as numerous family and friends in Winnipeg and Romania. Tataie will be remembered for his generous nature, cheery disposition and love of soccer. He was very sociable and at his best when mentoring others. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Romanian Orthodox Church.

Condolences to Laurentiu, Daniela and the entire family, even after seven years of that sad moment. The distance and the lack of communication are here to blame. I shall never forget the "joie de vivre" of Cornel Serban, I could never forget the holiday with Laurentiu and the family in Plaiu Foii mountains, Romania.
